Udayani Social Action Forum works for the empowerment of women belonging to Dalit and Adivasi communities through Self Help Groups (SHGs) and federations. These form the base of the organization.
The participants are trained in maintaining six copies of SHG records: Resolution copy, Saving copy, Attendance copy, Loan copy, Personal saving copy, and Debit/Credit copy. The SHG leaders are taught how to maintain these records systematically.
Environment Protection Trainings and Programs include Anti-Plastic campaigns, Family Organic Gardens, and Herbal Eco-Sustainable garden trainings. These are aimed at helping SHG members create sustainable ecosystems for themselves and future generations.
